Adults who had difficult families or childhoods
Not all parents are able to provide the emotional stability, attentiveness and understanding needed to raise emotionally thriving children. Sometimes stress, generational trauma, substance abuse, etc. can limit even the most loving parents. If this was your parents, you likely struggle with boundaries, authority figures and relationships, among other things. You can start to make sense of your struggles and change the patterns for your future and your children’s future.
Survivors of Neglect, Abuse, or Narcissism
Whether you experienced it in your family, extended family or in adult relationships, close connection with abusive people can cause a lot of harm. It may feel like you cannot be safe in any relationship, or that something is wrong with you. But please know that you are not broken. You can heal and change patterns so that you thrive in close relationships.
Those who are Neurodiverse, Highly Sensitive, or Chronic Illness
No everyone’s and body/brain works exactly the same way. Some of us are more sensitive to sensations, emotions, our own inner world and mental processes, or how our bodies react to the environment and the world around us. If this is you, you have probably experienced gaslighting in relationships and institutions. The world was not set up for difference. I can help you find the beauty in yourself and how you navigate the neurotypical world.
